Team Offstring Superheroes was founded in 2006. It is one of the most influential and inspiring offstring yo-yo community in the current yoyoing scene. It aims to share and learn tricks with every yo-yo player around the world. We have more then 25 over offstring yo-yo players all over the world who are national and world champions to represent the community with passion.

Our guiding principles in understanding are being humble and willing to learn. Only with these, can we help realise dreams. Every mistake that offstring yo-yo player makes, will only bring them one step closer to success. We aspire to instill this sense of determination in our players.

You don't really have to be that good or crazy to be an Offstring Superheroes. All you need is to have fun and the passion to keep on yoyoing. Even Offstring Superheroes have their own weakness and strengths.

To be in the team, you have to win top 3 position from any National Yo-Yo Contest, Asia-Pacific Yo-Yo Championship or World Yo-Yo Championship as your title and recognition to enable you to represent as Offstring Superheroes. Membership to this team is by invitation only but the community is for everyone.

What is SPEED x SYYC , it’s a join event where by Speed Challenge + South Yoyo Contest running in one. Things can never be this cool. The SYYC is recommended for the Expert level yoers who wish to get a spot at the MYYC ( malaysian yoyo championships 2009). While the SPEED Challenge is a whole new challenge of its own cartered for Beginners - Expert levels. Well you dont even have to think about it, it’s the coolest event ever in Malaysia. This time all way in Melaka.

The Speed Challenge 2009
The yo-yo scene has been around for a very long period, from the age of Coca-Cola wood axle yo-yos till the competitive ball bearing level yo-yos. Everyday the yo-yo scene is improving in terms of level of play. The gap between beginner level & expert level are getting wider and wider. We would like to introduce a new concept of challenge where by both beginner & expert level would be able to challenge each other that is SPEED.
The idea behind the SPEED Challenge is to provide new contestants with a list of tricks, which are easily and quickly learned, and a series of immediate goals that can be reached.

Competition related matters concerned.

1. The contestant gathers the concrete time: The competition 13 o'clock will start in February 7 to call up athletes in their turn, 15 spots start to compete.

2. How to compete the scene: Suggested that everybody rides the Guangzhou subway 2 lines to the south of Yangzi River west under the underground station, is suitable a export direction to walk 800 meters. In Guangzhou all subway line is the connection, may in the stopover station replacement line. Guangzhou all train stations have the subway, please feel relieved. If rides the airplane to play the family, may travel by the airport bus to the sea bead square station, transfers the subway again.

3. How does the board and lodging arrange: We just help the outside areas to play the family to be scheduled the Guangzhou steed abundant hotel, to competition range approximately 50 meters. The hotel price is 150/double room, 200/3 person of room. If needs to be scheduled the hotel to play the family please (tall man) to relate with Luo Jianbin.

On the sports field ground floor has the high-quality dining room, the downstairs has everybody happily (expense approximately between 20 to 30 Yuan). Nearby the location approximately 50 to 100 meters has the small food shop, expends approximately between 5 to 15 Yuan.

4. Long ball choice: The competition do not use pirates the long ball. (No-Bootleg)

One of the most respected person does so many things in the worldwide yoyoing community just to spread the love! Truly amazing! touch by his interview and reports! And he is a busy man of course! And he knows how to manage his time!

On 12th January 2009, Monday
He came China for TV program, yo-yo performance/shows.
Along with Mickey and Takuto and Junjie (Singapore,4A?OS player).
He told me there are many good yoyo player and they use full metal yoyo made in China.

It would be the same, but it has a different spacers that the YYF Loop720 is using it also.

1. Practicing for next contest?
- Well I just finished my exams this year. I'm planning my freestyle for the upcoming contest MYYC09 or Regionals state. Im ready for all this.

2. What are ur preparations?
- I'm preparing to be the best player in offstring. Trying to be better than Aik Hwee.

3. Do u think u can win?
- My friends think that I could win. In fact, I feel that I already am the top 4A in Malaysia except that I always screw up my performance.

4. Will u like to get sponsored in any yoyo company?
- In year 2006, Duncan wants to recruit a new member for Duncan Crew Malaysia. There were 4 or 5 people who was chosen to go through the test. Those people are Faiz, Shakeel, Jazli (Me), Nichy Chow and another I forgotten. The test was to do a yoyo freestyle using a duncan yoyo. But then I screwed up my performance which lead me to a let down.
But I still want to be sponsored in any yoyo company.

5. Why do u like to be on team offstring superheroes.
- TOS is an awesome team. There's alot of member that I dont even know and some of them are champions. Other than that, TOS is a team for only 4A players in the world can join.
Fajar is the coolest guy in 4A in Asia.lol

"I recently entered the Excedrin Express Gels Speed Challenge by filming myself yo-yoing as fast as I can. I am now one of the eight finalists and am well on my way to receiving $15,000!"

The first round voting period for my video is this Sunday, November 23rd through this Tuesday, November 25th. The way it works is a single-elimination, bracket-style tournament. I am going head to head against a tap dancer. So, once we win this first round, there will be two more rounds to win. "Lately, I have been really busy now that I play on a hockey team and complete all my schoolwork. I still make time to yoyo though! Last Saturday, in Malaysia (Kuala Lumpur) Team Offstring Superheroes member & also a crew member of Duncan Crew Singapore,Worldwide Fajar Siddiq made a visit to be the Guest Judge of the SPEED CHALLENGE x CYYC08. Met along with other team mates, Raymond Thian (Team Offstring Superheroes) & also a crew member of Duncan Crew Malaysia,Worldwide is also the Judge in the contest of the yoyo event.

The Speed Challenge 2008
The yo-yo scene has been around for a very long period, from the age of Coca-Cola wood axle yo-yos till the competitive ball bearing level yo-yos. Everyday the yo-yo scene is improving in terms of level of play. The gap between beginner level & expert level are getting wider and wider. We would like to introduce a new concept of challenge where by both beginner & expert level would be able to challenge each other that is SPEED.
The idea behind the SPEED Challenge is to provide new contestants with a list of tricks, which are easily and quickly learned, and a series of immediate goals that can be reached.

It’s our very first launch for the Speed Challenge, a little sneak preview on how Speed Challenge is about.
- Complete the 10 tricks on the SPEED Challenge Trick list in the fastest time.
- Top 16 qualifies to the Finals, and Head to Head battle.
- The King of the Challenge (Champion) will walk away with HARD , COLD , RAW …. CASH prize

That’s not the end ….. your scores will then be uploaded to the Speed Challenge Top 10 Speed Ranking Micro site, which will be launching in December. Last Saturday, 15th November 08.
Nandor Groger his nickname "Nandi" from Hungary!
Congratulations to Nandor Groger! for winning the 1st place Czech YoYo Nationals 08 in the X Division!

Many yoyo players turn up for the yo-yo contest and also from other countries attend the contest, Doc Pop, Yukki Spencer & Kentaro.

But i was curious for the judges' respond. And i was thinking about that i have done what i could i do and from the moment i go to the stage is only luck. But now i dont know what to say im exhausted i slept in the car after the party and had fun."

AP08 Throwdown was great & fun at Scape Lab, Singapore.
One of the craziest (Yabai) throwdown was perform from our very own team offstring superheroes members, Takahiko Hasegawa and Fajar Siddiq.
Too Serious with good tricks?This is a simple dangerous trick but is serious and fun!

Taka was using this Big Metal Offstring YoYo which he actually use at World YoYo Contest in Artistic Performance. He use a Stick Wand to knock the yoyo to create a tone before he launch the yoyo off the string.

Team Offstring Superheroes was form in year 2004 during Singapore YoYo Nationals.
With alot of top offstring players in Singapore.
And now its finally up and finalize Worldwide.
First of all Team Offstring Superheroes was Officially Launched at AP08!
Will like to congratulate all Team Offstring Superheroes Members who didn't make into finals and make it to finals! Congratulations to Lim Aik Hwee for winning 1st in 4A//Offstring Division in the AP08 Finals! Tough year this year, We have a good rolling times with alot of new faces at AP08 with sick tricks. The team members have closed for invitational. Lets keep it offstring alive! up! up! and away!

Youths flaunt skills at 5th Asia Pacific Yo-yo Championship in S'pore

SINGAPORE: Asian youths showed off their array of tricks at the 5th Asia Pacific Yo-yo Championship, which took place at Takashimaya Square on Sunday. The overall country winner was from Japan as its contestants came in tops in this year's competition featuring two new categories - Asia Pacific Beat-IT! Throwdown and Asia Pacific Country Fast Challenge. This is in addition to the four main divisions which are Pro A, AA, 4A and 5A. The competition saw players as young as 13 years old competing against teams from 12 countries across Asia Pacific. This year, participants were also given the opportunity to pit their skills against the World Champion, Hiroyuki Suzuki from Japan. Players were judged according to the level of difficulty of their tricks as well as their costume and choreography. Defending champion Lim Aik Hwee - a 16-year-old Singaporean - won the Pro 4A division, while contestants from Japan came in first in the other four divisions. Japan also won the 2006 competition, which was held in Malaysia. - CNA/vm
